Stone holds her like a secret. Curves gather in shadow, angles catch the light and release it. She is the suggestion of a shoulder, the rumor of a body, a woman who exists in what is absent. The classical breathes through abstraction. Form remembers form. In removing everything unnecessary, the sculptor found her essence waiting in the stone all along, patient and whole. Move around her. She is never the same twice. Light transforms her with each step. She offers herself to shadow, then to gold, then to nothing but her own geometry.
